About Opera Minima

OPERA MINIMA was created in 1999 and became a registered charitable trust in 2001 (Registered charity No. 1087145).

The charity's objectives are:

Broaden AppealTo broaden the appeal of opera

CoachingTo give coaching and performing experience to young professional singers

InsightTo give young people a first hand insight into the art form

Opera Minima offers a variety of opera-based events, including workshops, masterclasses and a range of style of performance from themed programmes to semi-staged double or triple bills, semi-staged with piano accompaniment.

Performances take place in The Old Corset Factory in Great Easton in Leicestershire (between Corby and Market Harborough) and in a variety of other venues.
