• Music director – Nicholas Bosworth
• Artistic director – Gillian Leftwich
• Her husband – Mel Christie (they live in the OCF

WHAT WE DO
• One act operas {Bizet (Djamileh), Menotti (The telephone), William Walton (The Bear), Barber (A hand of bridge), Wolf-Ferrari (Susanna’s secret), Pergolesi (La serva padrona), Holst (Savitri), Rossini (L’inganno felice), Martin Read (Rainforest)}.

• Themed programmes (Mainly Mozart, French Touch, Shakespeare in opera)
• Reductions of full length operas (Martha, Hansel & Gretel, Don Carlo)
• Semi-staged & costumed
• Directed from the piano by Nicholas Bosworth.

WHERE WE DO IT
• Rehearsals – initial music session in London, then intensive few days in OCF
• Performances - mainly OCF (seats max 36)
• Other small venues in East Midlands and elsewhere
• Toured Rainforest in 5 counties in 2007 and in 8 venues in 2009

WHAT ELSE WE DO
• Workshops in local state schools (HMS Pinafore, Hotel Paree, Several Sinful Scenes, Hansel & Gretel)
• and in the local community (Pinafore, Martha, Don Carlo)

AUDITIONS
Auditions are held from time to time, usually in London. They are advertised on this website and in the UK music colleges.
