LAST WORD PRODUCTIONS - musical theatre group return with their new revue! Following their previous success in Great Easton, they are thrilled to present their new fast paced show – What’s the Story?

Enjoy six cleverly abridged musicals in one evening as LWP introduce you to characters, lead you through plots, and wow you with musical numbers from classic comedies, Sondheim spectaculars and Broadway blockbusters!

What is life?

Susan Moore's rich mezzo-contralto voice is particularly suited to the music sung by Kathleen Ferrier, whose centenary is the inspiration for this recital.

South African-born Njabulo Mdlala, 2010 winner of the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Prize, has been delighting UK audiences with his programmes of German lieder, French melodies and English song.

They will be accompanied by Nicholas Bosworth.

"Fidelio"

Fidelio

An imaginative and flexible re-structuring of arguably the greatest opera ever written.

The glorious music is sung in the original German, while the spoken dialogue is given an ingenious new slant.

Instead of an English translation, this new production tells the story from Leonore’s point of view, as she reads extracts from her memoirs, "Leonore’s story", in her book-reading tour.
